Theatrical cut:

Noémie is a French-American with a quick wit and a soft spot for animals. Vet school lost her at “euthanasia.” Naturally, she chose a career where great ideas fight to survive the risk-averse gauntlet.

Directors cut:

I’m sure you’re wondering… my name is pronounced No-eh-MEE or if it’s easier, think of it as “no-amy.”

The whole vet school thing is real. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a vet. When we lived in Colorado, my mom helped me snag a week-long experiencing shadowing vets at CSU’s Small Animal Urgent Care Clinic when I was 13. I was OBSESSED. But then a family brought in their 2-year-old lab that had been hit by a car. Mangled doesn’t even begin to cover it. Just imagine the worst without dying. The dog needed surgery, the prognosis was grim, and the family couldn’t afford it. Naturally, my 13-year-old idealistic brain thought, “of course, they’ll save him!” Nope. They euthanized him. I wasn’t even in the room, and it still wrecked me. So yeah… Copywriting won, yay!

I’m a voracious reader. We’re talking 100+ books a year kind of voracious. So yes, I will join your book club.

I’m a former collegiate 100m and 400m hurdler trying to convince myself that half marathons are fun. My body has been fighting me for six years, but nothing gut punches my ego quite like getting passed by 70-year-olds. So run on I must!

I love cute figurines that flip you off—don’t ask me why, they just make me giggle.

Farts will always be funny, and I don’t care what anyone says. Maybe it’s because I’m a boy mom, who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve been told I have a great laugh. It’s kind of loud, a little cackle-y, but it’s mine, and it makes people smile. I’ll take that any day.

Lastly, GO BRONCOS! 🧡💙
