Theatrical cut:

Noémie is a French-American with a quick wit and a soft spot for animals. Vet school lost her at “euthanasia.” So, naturally, she turned to copywriting and never looked back.

Directors cut:

I’m sure you’re wondering… my name is pronounced No-eh-MEE or if it’s easier, think of it as “no-amy.”

The whole vet school thing is real. Long story short, I wanted to be a vet since I was a kid. And when we lived in Colorado my mom knew one of the vets at CSU’s Small Animal Urgent Care Clinic and was able to organize a week-long job shadowing when I was 13. It was going really well, I was pumped about everything UNTIL a family brought in their 2 year old lab… that was hit by a car. And when I say that dog was mangled, just imagine the absolute worse without dying. The pup needed surgery but the prognosis was grim and the family couldn‘t afford it. My idealistic 13-year-old brain thought, “oh, surely they’ll try to save him!” NOPE. That dog was euthanized and it was f*ckin traumatic. I obviously wasn’t in the room, but just the thought of it shredded my soul. Soooo Copywriting was the next best thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m a voracious reader. We’re talking 100+ books a year kind of voracious. And yes, I will join your book club.

I’m a former collegiate 100M & 400M hurdler trying to convince my myself that running half marathons is super fun and awesome, but my body has been low key fighting against it for six years. But seeing 70 year olds pass me is just the punch in the nuts my ego needs to keep going.

I love cute figurines that flip you off—don’t ask me why, they just make me giggle.

I really hate that AI has ruined the use of em dashes.

Farts will always be funny, and I don’t care what anyone says. Maybe it’s because I’m a boy mom, who knows.

I’ve been told I have a great laugh. I think it’s a little loud and sometimes cackle-y, but its mine, and it makes people smile. So I’ll take that any day.

And lastly, GO BRONCOS!
